Needs Analysis
Each project begins with gathering information where you tell us
what your needs are, how these products will be used, the
environment they will be placed in, and what the system requirements
will need to be. Tell us your vision and we’ll work together to
reach that goal.
We utilize standard platforms as well as customized platforms. What
we recommend will vary depending on the information we receive from
you. You will receive all the information upfront so you can make
an informed decision to the next step.
Brand Conception
To give your systems the most professional and appealing look and
feel, your image can be silk-screened on to the bezel.
Silk-screening allows for precision color matching and sharp vibrant
finishes, which can really help set your brand apart.
If you are really looking to differentiate your system, we can
custom make bezels for almost every system. Custom bezels allow you
to completely customize the look, including: color, material, and
finish. In addition we can add things like LCD displays if needed.
Badges can be used in conjunction with our many other types of
branding or it can be used alone for a simple approach. Badges are
typically used to denote model numbers, allowing you to have a
specific look across your entire model line and change the badges as
necessary.
Custom labels are available for every system. Information like
custom serial numbers, media control addresses, logos, safety data
and other information can all be printed on industry approved
labeling materials and affixed to every unit during assembly.
To allow you to increase the impact of your system, we offer
custom powder-coat finishes. Custom colors are available upon
request. There are also a wide range of different finish types
available, allowing you to have complete control of the final
appearance of your product.
We offer complete custom chassis design to cover just about any
request you may have.
Design Approval
The final step in the design process is to approve the entire
design. Only when you are satisfied with every detail and sign off
will we move into the production phase.
Configuration Details
At this stage, we will outline specific needs for production, such
as special software requirements, customized quality control, if you
need to receive MAC addresses for software updates, etc. We will do
whatever it takes to assure that your units come out the way you want.
Manufacturing and Quality Control
With the details in place, your system is now ready to go into full
production. We will create documentation to assure that every unit
is built exactly to spec, and will keep you informed about the
production schedule. Should you need to make changes to the
schedule, we will work with you on that detail as well.
We will also thoroughly test each unit as it comes off the line to
assure the highest level of quality. We do a 48 hour burn-in in
order to thoroughly test the systems.
Package and Delivery
Cartons can be customized to carry your company’s name, logo, or
other information. Owner’s manuals, spec sheets, and
cross-promotional materials may also be inserted in the final
package. We will help you identify your options and set up your
program to provide the best value.
While iXsystems can ship finished units to you, most customers
prefer to leave distribution in our hands. We have the capabilities
to ship both domestically and internationally and manage all customs
issues. iXsystems has the ability to drop ship units as needed,
anywhere in the world. We will use our historical knowledge to
select between multiple carrier options to be sure shipments arrive
on time, in good condition, and as inexpensively as possible.
When the final product is shipped to your customer, we can print box
labels and stickers with your product information and company name,
giving the unit the appearance that it drop-shipped directly from your warehouse.
